Med Surg Solutions, Gore authorized distributor, was a proud sponsor of PAIRS International Congress that was held in Dubai from February 27th till March 2nd, 2019. During congress, MSS, has launched its Conformable GORE® TAG ® Thoracic Endoprosthesis Stent Graft with new ACTIVE CONTROL delivery system, providing control and predictable placement of the stent for TEVAR. Gore Medical Mastery Series hands-on simulations for virtual training took place at the booth for engaging and interactive sessions whereby doctors would gain deeper insight into device design. In addition to the simulator workshop, MSS has organized a lunch symposium and TEVAR live showcase of the new endovascular device. The live case was broadcasted live from King Faisal Specialist Hospital and Research Center, Riyadh, KSA. Dr. Faris Al Omran, Vascular Surgeon Consultant, and Dr. Shagran Bin Khamis, Interventional Radiologist Consultant have successfully extended the new aortic treatment to their patient. Session was moderated by Dr. Mathias Wilhemi, Vascular Surgeon at Hannover Medical School, Germany.
