BEIRUT — The ongoing conflict in Lebanon has forced thousands of families from their homes, creating an urgent need for basic necessities like shelter and food. While local and international NGOs have been working relentlessly every single day to provide relief, the scale of the crisis requires everyone to pitch in. At Med Surg Solutions (MSS), we feel a deep responsibility to stand alongside our fellow Lebanese citizens during these difficult times, shifting our focus to where the need is greatest.

Aligning with National Relief Efforts

To turn our commitment into direct action, and in strict alignment with the Lebanese government's emergency response plan to aid those in need, the MSS Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) department proudly joined forces with Souk Al Tayeb, a social enterprise working on national and international projects to promote and preserve culinary traditions, rural heritage, and the natural environment. Their vital relief efforts for the displaced are supported through funds from the Deutsche Gesellschaft für Internationale Zusammenarbeit (GIZ) in Lebanon.

Action on the Ground: 3,500 Meals for Displaced Families

By partnering with such a respected community organization and supporting national relief efforts, we ensured that our contributions reached the people who needed them most, quickly and effectively. Trading their daily office routines, the MSS team rolled up their sleeves and volunteered their time to help. Working side-by-side with the Souk Al Tayeb team, we assisted in preparing 3,500 hot, nutritious meals. These meals were then distributed to temporary shelters and housing centers across different areas in Lebanon, providing comfort and essential nourishment to families facing incredible uncertainty.

A Mission Beyond Healthcare
