Engineering Care: MSS’s Mission During Hajj

In the heart of Hajj 2025, where nearly two million pilgrims braved desert heat and crowds, Med Surg Solutions (MSS) quietly but decisively played a vital role. Our biomedical engineering and clinical teams arrived weeks ahead of the first pilgrims, armed with the latest innovative machine, and a commitment to ensure every life-support device remained operational across the field hospitals.

Mobilizing for the Sacred Duty

Long before sunrise on Arafat’s plain, our team had set up vital support units in key field hospitals and mobile clinics across Mina and Muzdalifah. We knew the heat and dehydration would take a toll, so we came prepared with everything needed to spring into action at a moment’s notice. Whenever an alarm sounded, day or night, our people were on hand to make sure no equipment ever stopped working.

Steady Hands Under the Sun

In blistering temperatures above 45 °C, our teams worked around the clock. Mornings began with careful checks to ensure every device was ready for the day. Through it all, our focus never wavered: every pilgrim’s health and peace of mind.

Building Local Strength

We didn’t just bring machines, we shared knowledge. Partnering with our Saudi colleagues, we ran hands-on workshops and mentoring sessions, simulating real-world challenges so local technicians could feel confident handling any situation. Our hope was simple: leave behind a team that could carry on this critical work long after the last tent came down.

A Promise for Tomorrow

As pilgrims returned home renewed in spirit, our team shared in their relief and gratitude. Thanks to KSA healthcare ecosystem’s collective effort, Hajj 2025 was safer and more secure. To our partners and every pilgrim we served: your trust inspired us. We’ll be here again for Hajj 2026, ready and steadfast, wherever help is needed.
